Shang Qingfei, PhD, professor and doctoral supervisor of the Department of Philosophy of Nanjing University, researcher of the Marxist Social Theory Research Center of the Ministry of Education. He is also the vice president of the National Society for the Study of Mao Zedong's Philosophy, the vice president of the Jiangsu Research Association on Scientific Socialism , and the researcher of Xijinping‘s New Era Socialism with Chinese character at Jiangsu Center. He has presided a number of projects such as the Youth Project and Key Project of the National Social Science Fund, and the Major Project of the Key Research Base of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education. He has been awarded the second prize for the outstanding achievements by the Ministry of Education and Jiangsu Provincial Government, and he has been titled as an excellent supervisor of doctoral dissertations in Jiangsu Province. He has published more than 120 academic papers at Chinese Social Science, Marxist Studies and other newspapers and journals, and more than 10 monographs, edited books and translations. His major research interests are the History of Marxist Philosophy and the Sinicization of Marxism.
