Aims

• Promoting an all-round reform of curriculum structure

• Sparing no effort to equip students with multidisciplinary basic knowledge and help them establish correct world views, values and views of life
  

Curriculum Structure Reform 

Construction of new, high-level courses + reconstruction of existing curriculum structure

Changing the curriculum structure from “rigidity” to “flexibility”

• Reducing the total number of credits to 150

• Reducing the proportion of compulsory courses and increasing that of elective courses

• Trying new teaching methods like “Flipped Classroom” and “Blended Learning”

Constructing modules of general and compulsory courses

• Totally 50 credits in which 14 credits are acquired in general courses

• To integrate ancient and modern, Chinese and western cultures

• To nurture international perspectives, China Spirit, and modern consciousness

Reconstructing course modules of disciplines and programs

• Reconstructing courses of discipline platforms and core courses of programs, occupying about 50 credits.

Establishing modules of open elective courses

• This part occupies 50 credits.

• Consisting of courses on the cutting-edge development of the discipline, interdisciplinary courses, and courses on employment and entrepreneurship, which serve the needs of students of three different paths of development respectively
