On December 5, 2025, the Tengchong Scientists Forum 2025 · Quantum Technology Innovation and Development Symposium, hosted by Nanjing University and Tsinghua University, was held in Tengchong. More than twenty academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), over two hundred experts, scholars, and business leaders gathered together to discuss the innovative development of quantum technology. Zou Zhigang, Academician of the CAS and Professor at NJU, presided over the sub-forum as the chairman.

Gu Binglin, Academician of the CAS, former president of Tsinghua University, and chairman of the Tengchong Scientists Forum, reviewed the development process of the forum , affirmed Academician Zou Zhigang for consecutively organizing the sub-forum for three years, which has expanded the influence of the Tengchong Scientists Forum and NJU, and expressed high hopes for the future of the forum. He stated that he looks forward to this forum gathering wisdom, building consensus, and achieving fruitful results in the field of quantum technology.

During the keynote speech session, Academician of the CAS and Professor at Tsinghua University, Jiang Peixue, delivered a speech on "Surface Cooling Methods for High Heat Flux Density and Intelligent Computing Chip Heat Dissipation Technology," discussing issues such as how to solve the bottleneck of heat dissipation in the improvement of computing power for high-performance integrated chips. Academician of the CAS and Dean of the School of Integrated Circuits at Wuhan University, Liu Sheng, gave a speech titled "Industrial Development and Key Technologies of Robot Chips and Sensors," aimed at exchanging views on the current scientific significance of humanoid robots and how to overcome the challenges in robot development. Five professors, experts, and researchers also brought five brilliant theme reports in the field of quantum technology.

At the seminar, five parallel sub-forums—"Electronic Device Thermal Management," "Special Functional Materials," "Extreme Conditions," "Energy Materials," and "Modern AC/DC Hybrid Large Power Grids"—were held simultaneously, with each venue conducting precise discussions around hot topics in their respective subfields.
